Well two weeks of Body for Life are under my belt. It's nice having a day where I don't have to exercise. However I am still watching what I am eating and writing that down. I didn't do that with the first challenge and I'm not sure if that hurt at all.
Today was my weightwatchers meeting, so it was weigh-in day. I lost 1.4 lbs for a total of 2.2 lbs. I am pleased with my weight loss so far.
I am a bit worried about our trip to St. Louis though. There are a lot of unknowns. I can not make plans for my lunches and dinners. The snacks I can control. I am going to be bring a bunch of Zone Perfect bars with me. I am going to try to write a nutrition plan out for the days that we are gone. I can pretty much plan out everything but lunch and dinner. I can also plan out my exercise. I will be able to get my cardio in before we leave. Friday is an upper body workout. I plan on bringing resistance bands with me and also a few dumbbells. Saturday, will be a cardio day so that won't be an issue because the hotel has a precore gym. If the hotel has a gym complete with dumbbells then the upper body workout will not be an issue.
The only thing that I ate for lunch today that was not on BFL were some Baked Lays Potato Chips. So far so good. My plan for tonight is going out for pizza and mozzerella sticks and maybe a treat of an ice cream cone from DQ. I know for the first challenge I did go overboard on my free days.
I am still knitting away on my Pomatomus socks. I am working on the gusset of the first sock. I probably won't have the pair finished before we leave for St. Louis. Who knows maybe I'll finish them on the road to St. Louis.
I need to plan what knitting I am going to bring with me. The girls have suggested some mindless knitting. Ok, that's fine, but what exactly is mindless and that won't bore me half to death? I'll let you know when I figure that out.
For the next, how many months I am probably going to be knitting a lot of socks from the new books of Cookie A and Wendy Johnson. There are so many wonderful patterns in both books. I also belong to a couple of KAL groups on Raverly featuring those books. It'll be nice because they will say which patterns are going to be featured for the month. When I go to the Loopy Ewe next week, I think I am going to expand my stash of semi-solid yarns.
