Well week 5 of Body for Life is pretty much complete. I just have two more meals to eat for the day then it’s on to my free day tomorrow.
I measured my waist today, and I have shaved off 1.5 inches. Not bad. I am starting to see some results. Week 8 is supposed to be where you see the most magic. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
I finished the fifth week of the Couch to 5k running plan. I am finding that I am not enjoying my cardio workout as much as I do the upper body workouts. Probably, because it is more work. I am not quite used to the sweaty feeling. I do break a sweat but it is not a major sweat.
This was the week where I found myself wishing that I wasn’t doing Body for Life. I had a lot of temptations this week but somehow I managed to survive them.
Thursday was knit night, I so wanted to have a diet soda. I had made plans to have one but talked myself out of it. I have to keep reminding myself that I can have all the diet soda I want on Sunday. I also remind myself of that with all other foods that I want. I have been craving pizza and pastries
