I thought things were going good this morning. I woke up with 10 minutes before the alarm. I left on time didn't have to wait for my daughter to get ready. She was actually ready. Dropped her off at school was making good time and then wouldn't you know. Traffic jam! Would you believe that it took me a half hour to drive 10 minutes. I still have this pet peeve about being at a complete dead stop on the interstate.
I lost .6 at my weigh-in yesterday. I was a bit disappointed, I was kind of hoping a bit more but it is still a weight loss.
Yesterday was my free day and it was a bit worse than the others that I have had. This time I brought a zone perfect bar with me to my meeting so I could have that for breakfast. That helped. Then it was off to Culver’s for lunch about an hour after the meeting had ended. I had a bit of a chocolate bar then another nutrition bar. Dinner was 2 mozzerella sticks, a medium crust cheese pizza and for desert a Chocolate covered Strawberry blizzard from Dairy queen. My son got me the medium size, I couldn’t eat the whole thing it just got to be too much.
By the bedtime, I was feeling miserable. This morning I do feel a bit sluggish. I was actually looking forward to going back to eating healthier foods. Not quite sure if I have the carb hangover or not this morning.
I did get my lower body workout in this morning. I didn’t have the workout written up when I got to the gym. I got there a bit later than I wanted to but that was because of traffic going in. I don’t know if I am doing anything wrong. I had changed what I am doing for my lower body workout and I am burning about 50 calories less each workout. That is somewhat bothering me. Am I not working hard enough? I upped the weights on some of my exercises but I think that I am going to try upping them some more.
I had been doing really good knitting my Snapdragons. When I had made a mistake. I didn't really follow the pattern. Instead of knitting a couple of straight rows after finishing the heel flap I went straight into the leg pattern. It didn't look right. So, I started tinking. Well, the next thing you know I am missing a stitch. So, I frogged the entire heel flap all the way to the start of the gusset increases. This morning I tinked a few rows because I wasn't exactly getting the right stitch count in the gusset decrease area. I figured I would do more tinking during my lunch hour. I also thought that I would take a peek at some of the projects on Ravelry to see how everyone else's socks have looked. Well, when I clicked on the project page, I got a very nice surprise. My Loopy Swap 4 Pal had finished this exact same pattern for herself last month. Only she had a different title for her socks so that is why I didn't catch it. Since this yarn was purchased specifically with her in mind, I am going to frog the sock and find something new to knit. My thoughts are that since there is a Cookie KAL on Ravelry and they are knitting Kai-Mei that is what these socks have destined to become. Now, my only problem is that I do not have the pattern nor the needles to start the project. So, the socks that I have been knitting on for the past week will become history around 12:30 pm central time today.
What else is this Monday going to bring me???
